How often should I brush and floss?

It's not a secret that brushing and flossing help control the plaque and bacteria that cause dental disease. The bacteria in plaque convert certain food particles into acids that can cause tooth decay. In case if plaque remains there, it can easily turn into tartar, after what they start destroying the gums and bone, causing periodontal disease (in case the plaque and tartar are not removed). These issues can only be controlled by regular brushing and flossing.

It's a common question everyone asked himself, how often should I brush and floss? So when it comes to toothbrushing, you should remember that the best way is to brush your teeth at least twice a day, specifically before going to bed at night. How to brush correctly? From the first sight this question seems to be easy as we do it everyday, but did you know that it's correct to brush at a 45 degree angle to the gums? Such small things will help you keep your teeth healthy and white. Brush them gently using a small, circular motion; use the tip of the brush head to clean the inside front teeth. And don't forget to brush your tongue in order to your breath fresh and to remove harmful bacteria.
At the same time daily flossing is the best way to clean between the teeth and under the gumline. As in addition it disrupts plaque colonies from building up, which prevents the gums, teeth, and bone from a possible damage.

Take 12-16 inches (30-40cm) of dental floss, using your thumbs and forefingers gently insert the floss between teeth using a sawing motion, after that curve the floss into a "v-shape" around each tooth and under the gumline.
By the way, one of the most important things not to be forgotten is to rinse your mouth with water after brushing and after meals if there is no possibility to brush.
I hope these few simple tips will help you keep you teeth white and healthy!
