Needless to say, that the color of your teeth has a straight affect on your smile. And under the words "beautiful smile" we mean perfect, white teeth. If your teeth are yellowish or stained - it's a sign of poor oral hygiene, but are lucky because today tooth discoloration can be easily remedied with teeth whitening  services.
Our teeth reflect our lifestyle and nutrition, so if you usually drink tea, soda, red wine, fruit juice and coffee your teeth can be stained. At the same time if you want to have the perfect smile - you should avoid acidic foods, as they open up enamel's pores. You should be careful with a temperature of beverages, it makes the tooth expand and contract.

It goes without saying that smoking is one of the main reasons to the tooth discoloration because of contained nicotine in it. Despite the fact that medications and treatment procedures for those deseases that affect the tooth enamel and dentin like antibiotics, antihistamine, chemotherapy and radiation suppose to make ones tooth healthy, can also cause discoloration. So try to take less medicine if there is a choice. At the same time keep in mind that excessive use of mouthwash is another cause, that's why it's prohibited by dentists.
Lifestyle change can prevent tooth discoloration as well. Avoid food and beverages that can stain your teeth as much as you can. Maintaining good oral habits such as brushing your teeth and flossing regularly can also help prevent the formation of plaques and cavities.
